Scots are being urged to get into the spirit of “giving” ahead of the festive season – by donating blood.
The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service has launched its annual festive drive urging people to come forward to help keep stocks up.
The organisation says Scotland needs 15,000 donors to step forward this month.
