An end could be in sight to a pay row that has caused severe disruption for rail passengers. The train drivers’ union ASLEF is recommending its members accept a new 5% offer from ScotRail.
The dispute has meant a temporary timetable has been in place that has seen 700 services cancelled every day. The union says the offer is recognition of the vital role of its members.
