Scotland’s health secretary has insisted the NHS is not in crisis.
That’s despite a raft of new figures out today showing a rise in people waiting more than twelve hours for A&E treatment; an increase in delayed discharges and more than two thousand operations cancelled at the last minute in a single month.
Neil Gray has accepted the service is under pressure but says that’s not a uniquely Scottish problem.
