Scotland’s first windfarm upgraded with new turbines and more power

STV News visited the South Lanarkshire site to learn more.

When it opened in 1995, Hagshaw Hill windfarm was the first of its kind in Scotland.

30 years on, and hundreds of similar sites now operate around the country.

Following major upgrades, those original turbines have now been replaced with the aim of delivering five times more energy.
