It’s all aboard for Scotland’s biggest model railway exhibition, with some of the country’s top train set builders displaying their work at the SEC in Glasgow.
Dozens of stunningly detailed layouts and model trains from 32 different clubs are on display this weekend, along with specialist societies, collectors stalls, and demonstrations.
However there are concerns the hobby is hitting hard times due to changing demographics and the cost of living, but the event is expected to attract around 15,000 rail enthusiasts over the course of this weekend alone.
