Scotland is bracing itself for a difficult flu season this winter, the health secretary is warning, as he laid out plans to prepare the NHS for the tough, colder months.
An extra £20m for social care will be provided, in a bid to reduce delayed discharges and hospital admissions.
But those working in the strained social care sector say they’re already struggling to meet demand.
