Scientists advice decrease in North Sea cod quotas

Fishermen have called the data "nonsensical" and say it doesn't reflect the stocks they're seeing

Scientists say evidence shows there should be a reduction in the amount of cod that Scottish fishermen can catch in the North Sea.

The international body that monitors fish stock levels, has advised a decrease for next year’s quota.
