A 15-year-old girl has pleaded guilty after attacking another pupil with a knife at an Aberdeen secondary school.
The teenager, who was 14 at the time of the offences, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday morning, and plead guilty to two charges in connection with the attack at Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen last April.
The victim, a 12-year-old girl, was taken to the Children’s Hospital in Aberdeen for treatment at the time, and was left permanently disfigured by the attack.
The teenager will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date for sentencing.
