Schoolboy defies odds by walking again after car accident

Doctors were unsure if six-year-old Denis-Jack Ward would ever be back on his feet

A schoolboy from Tranent has defied all the odds by learning to walk again, after he was involved in a car accident two years ago.

But now, after complex operations and gruelling physiotherapy, he’s hoping he’ll be able to fulfil his dreams of becoming a famous footballer
