School support staff gather at Holyrood as strike continues

Children across much of the country faced disruption with many schools closed

Hundreds of school support staff gathered outside the Scottish Parliament today, as a dispute over pay continues.

Today, it emerged funds for compensating survivors of historical abuse would be used to pay for some of the £80 million pay offer.
