School pupil and care home pen pals meet for first time

Pupils from Stewart’s Melville School have been writing to care home residents in Edinburgh.

Inter-generational friendships have been blossoming between care home residents in Edinburgh and pupils at Stewart’s Melville School.

The pen pals have been writing letters to each other for six months, with a number of pairs being introduced for the first time.
