Sainsbury’s workers to strike at East Kilbride depot

Staff are unhappy that they have been offered a lower pay rise than colleagues in England

Shoppers at Sainsbury’s supermarkets across Scotland are facing the prospect of empty shelves after workers at the company’s distribution centre voted for strike action. The Unite union says a walkout is planned to last for a week from the 13th of August.
