A consultation into proposals that would see restaurants forced to put calorie counts on their menus has closed today.
The Scottish Government plans could lead to food outlets being made to inform customers on menus, apps and notices at buffets.
However, it’s been branded controversial – and has been met with criticism by both eating disorder charities and the hospitality sector. Polly Bartlett reports
