Residents call on council to act after key bridge shut for two years

More than a hundred gathered today at the Aboyne Bridge.

Residents in the Aberdeenshire village of Aboyne say they feel cut off and let down following the closure of a key bridge in the community more than two years ago.

More than a hundred gathered today at the Aboyne Bridge to call on Aberdeenshire Council to act urgently.

The local authority says they’ve organised meetings for the end of the month to look at options going forward.
