Senior doctors are warning workforce wellbeing in Scotland’s NHS is at “crisis point” and failing patients.
A report from the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland found seven out of ten doctors have either experienced burnout, or are living with its effects.
The Health Secretary says they are investing in wellbeing support, but medics say constant exhaustion and excessive workloads are causing them to leave the profession.
