The cost of replacing or mitigating the use of lightweight concrete material used in numerous public buildings in Scotland, which are potentially at risk of collapse, could run into hundreds of millions of pounds.

A Holyrood committee has been hearing evidence about the extent of the use of RAAC in places like schools – as well as calls for action to help avoid similar problems.
