Lobby groups are making last-ditch efforts to persuade the Scottish Government to amend its Housing Bill legislation ahead of a vote next week.
The legislation, lodged earlier this year, allows ministers to create rent control zones following a recommendation from local councils.
Some tenants say proposals aren’t strong enough, while landlords feel tougher regulation will cripple the sector.
