Refuse workers to strike as pay offer branded ‘dire’

Workers will walk out for eight days in the coming weeks

The strike news continues. Unions have branded COSLA’s latest pay offer of 3.5% as a ‘dire response’ to the cost of living crisis.

The Scottish Government says it has committed £140 million to help with a pay rise, which they claim is enough to raise the offer to 5%.
