Rayner: Sturgeon deleting Covid WhatsApps ‘appalling’

The Deputy Labour leader made the comments while visiting an East Lothian distillery

The deletion of Covid WhatsApps by Nicola Sturgeon has been branded as “appalling” by Labour’s Deputy Leader Angela Rayner.

Visiting a distillery in East Lothian this morning she said it was preventing bereaved families from getting answers.

It comes as a new poll suggests Labour and the SNP would win the same number of seats at the next General Election.
