The RAF and the German military are to work side-by-side against the threat of Russia in the North Atlantic.
On a visit to RAF Lossiemouth on the anniversary of the Trinity House agreement, the defence secretary and his German counterpart set out how both militaries are working to identify and track Russian submarines off Scotland’s coast.
And both said Lossiemouth was vitally important in keeping Europe safe.
