A device that uses radioactive particles to identify brain tumours is helping treat patients in the North East with rare conditions

In Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, the machine operates like a CT scanner, and is the only one in Scotland. The scanner highlights areas which other devices can’t see, so tumours can be removed.
