A year on from the largest wildfire in the UK at Cannich in the Highlands, people are being urged to take care to prevent similar incidents while enjoying Scotland’s countryside.
Forestry and Land Scotland say trees that should have grown for another two decades are having to be chopped down, as the land still battles to recover from the blaze.
