Public inquiry highly critical of Manchester Arena response

22 people were killed after an Ariana Grande concert when a suicide bomber attacked the crowd

Victims of the Manchester Arena bombing were “left waiting in vain” for help which did not come.

A highly critical report published by the public inquiry into the terrorist attack found the performance of the emergency services fell “FAR below the standard it should have done”.

Teenager Eilidh MacLeod from Barra was among the twenty-two people who died in the 2017 attack at an Ariana Grande concert in the city.
