Public encouraged to give blood this Christmas

There are almost 97,000 registered donors in Scotland

New blood donors and those who haven’t given for a while are being encouraged to give the gift of life this Christmas.

A temporary donor centre has opened in the Overgate in Dundee after a leak forced the move from Ninewells Hospital.
