Public consultation on Aberdeen transport network ends

Council bosses are putting their heads together with the public to see what they'd like to change

A public consultation on Aberdeen’s transport network ends today – and hopes to change the way people travel around the city.

The City council’s Local Transport Strategy aims to reduce car journeys by almost half by 2030 by making public transport and cycling options more attractive.

The project will contribute to the Scottish Government’s plan to phase out fossil fuel powered cars.
