Puberty blocker perceptions paused for new patients

Equality campaigners claim the move will harm trans young people.

The prescription of puberty blockers has been paused for new patients in Scotland.

The decision follows a major review into gender care that found the medicine was built on shaky foundations.

However opposition parties say the decision should have been taken weeks ago.
