Protesters urge boycott of Edinburgh Caste café over name

They say the name is associated with the killing of Scots at the Battle of Culloden in 1746

Protesters are urging people to boycott the Redcoat Café at Edinburgh Castle, if their demands for a name change are not met.

Historic Environment Scotland say the café has had the name for more than 30 years and that it reflects the military history which is told throughout the Castle – but they say it is currently being reviewed.
