A man from Midlothian who was diagnosed with prostate cancer despite having no symptoms is urging others to ask their GP for a test, which could lead to early detection of the condition.
It comes as new analysis shows that the disease is now the most diagnosed cancer in the UK for the first time, with record numbers of men receiving a diagnosis.
