Pro-choice performers at the Fringe say women’s reproductive rights have taken a “step back” across the world in recent years.
It comes as many acts are set to take to the festival stage this year, detailing their experiences of abortion through drama and even comedy.
Meanwhile anti-abortion groups say they feel their voices have been “silenced”, despite the event organisers saying the Fringe is an “open access” space for all performers.
