Princess Royal opens community shop on the Isle of Lewis

A community fundraiser helped rally the funds for the project.

A project that transformed a 140-year-old building on the Isle of Lewis into a new community hub has been officially opened by the Princess Royal.

The £1 million project sees the first shop in 18 years in the community of Carloway.
