Previous record temperatures sign of future says Met Office

The Met Office report predicts without an urgent change in emission, last years extreme temperatures will be considered cool by 2100.

Last year’s record breaking temperatures are ‘a sign of things to come’.

That’s the stark warning from the Met Office which confirmed 2022 was the hottest recorded year since records began.

Their findings show extreme weather is becoming the new norm, with Scotland experiencing storms, flooding and drought throughout the year.
