They’ve been described as the beating heart of the Commonwealth Games, and with just a few months until the event comes to Glasgow, preparations are already under way to make sure volunteers are ready to welcome the Games to the city.
Up to 3,000 people are due to help out behind the scenes at this summer’s event.
STV News visited the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to meet some of them.
