Post offices affected by 24-hour strike causing some branches to close

The Post Office says most branches were open today despite a 24-hour strike by the Communication Workers Union.

The stoppage affected cash deliveries and meant the closure of some branches, including Inverness. The strike is over a pay freeze last year and 2% rise this year.
