One of Scotland’s largest dairies is demanding the UK Government re-think what it says are “crazy” post-Brexit product labelling plans that will cost the sector millions of pounds.
Graham’s Dairies say the changes, which require products to carry a “not for EU” label, are too complex and creating confusion for customers.
The proposals are aimed at reducing checks and controls on goods moving between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
But four years on from Brexit, many Scottish businesses say they’re still grappling with red tape and extra costs.
