Police Scotland has said it is ready to put “more resources than ever” into tackling violent incidents around Bonfire Night.
Over the last few years emergency service crews have experienced targeted attacks with fireworks and petrol bombs.
Fireworks zones will soon be in place in Glasgow and Edinburgh and senior officers have vowed to catch and prosecute anyone using fireworks to cause harm.
