Police open murder investigation after man shot dead in Perthshire

Shot while walking his dog. A murder inquiry is underway following the death of a 65-year-old man in Highland Perthshire.

Police revealed details of the murder today and said they have stepped up patrols following the shooting which happened 10 days ago.

Today they appealed for information.
