Police say drug drivers are more likely to be caught with the rollout of roadside testing kits.
The devices – dubbed ‘drugalysers’ – were introduced for specialist officers across Scotland in 2019 but, under a new trial, all community officers in East Ayrshire will now carry the kits.
It comes after a successful six-month pilot in Shetland.
