Police who failed to notice a Perthshire dog walker had been shot dead have admitted evidence may have been lost because the crime scene was not sealed off for several days.
Six days later a post mortem was carried out and a murder inquiry was launched.
Detectives say it was not an accident and they’re keeping an open mind on the motive.
