One of Scotland’s most celebrated poets has donated an entire archive of her life to the National Library.
The former Makar Jackie Kay has gifted 34 boxes of personal letters, diaries and family photographs.
She says it’s a comfort to know that years after she’s gone people will still be able to have “a good old rummage” amongst her things.
