The boss of P&O Ferries has been accused of being the most hated man in Britain after the sacking of 800 workers.
Peter Hebblethwaite repeated his apology for the cuts at a Holyrood committee this morning but refused to resign. The chief executive insisted the company would have folded if the job losses had not gone ahead. One MSP described the move as an extreme act of corporate terrorism. Ewan Petrie reports.
