Plaques unveiled in memory of Dundee firefighters

John Jamieson Buist and William Carnegie died responding to seperate blazes two months apart

Two Dundee firefighters – who lost their lives in the line of duty sixty years ago – have been honoured as part of a national project to celebrate those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Red plaques have been unveiled in the city in their memory.
