Plans to restrict traffic on one of the busiest roads in Inverness have gone on display.

Stretching from one end of the city to the other, Academy Street is a thoroughfare through the middle of Inverness

Highland Council wants to change the way vehicles use Academy Street to improve air quality and encourage active travel.

But businesses fear it could actually reduce footfall, and potentially damage the local economy.
