The first national memorial to those accused and persecuted for witchcraft has taken a step forward.
4000 women and men were accused of the crime during the 16th and 18th centuries. It follows a campaign by the charity, Remembering the Accused Witches of Scotland. Plans for the memorial will be put before Fife Council. Felicity Clifford reports.
