Peak fares on ScotRail scrapped from Monday as part of pilot

The Scottish Government will subsidise the service until March next year

Peak rail fares on all ScotRail services are to be scrapped from Monday as part of a pilot project.

The cost of a return ticket from Glasgow to Edinburgh will be halved in an attempt to get more passengers back on the railways.
