Ukrainians living in Scotland have told STV News, a revised peace plan being discussed by American and Ukrainian officials to end the conflict is “delusional” and “wishful thinking”.
President Trump claims “big progress” is now being made, while Ukrainian President Zelensky has welcomed “important steps” made during peace talks.
But he is also warning the “main problem” remains Putin’s demand for legal recognition of Russian-occupied territories.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer says any peace must be just and lasting.
