Women hit by changes to the state pension age have urged the government to ‘pay out now’ ahead of a Budget Day demonstration.

Waspi Women will head to Westminster next week to call on the chancellor to prioritise a proper plan to compensate those whose retirement plans were thrown into chaos.

And while the pensions minister says they need more time to consider their approach, campaigners believe fair and fast compensation is long overdue.
