A patient who was harmed by a disgraced Dundee neurosurgeon has lodged a complaint with the police after NHS Tayside destroyed key evidence required for a public inquiry.
Jules Rose was the last patient that Sam Eljamel operated on in Scotland, before he was suspended in 2013.
Despite a “do not destroy” notice being issued by the chair of the public inquiry last year, 40 theatre log books were shredded during the summer.
