Parliament meets for first time since General Election

The first PMQs is pencilled in for July 24, following the King's Speech next week.

The new UK Parliament met for the first time since Labour’s General Election victory.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed the party’s 37 Scottish MPs to Downing Street on Tuesday.

After suffering crushing losses in last week’s General Election, the SNP’s Westminster leader Stephen Flynn said he was looking forward to working with Labour and would “let bygones be bygones”.
