Around 100 children have been affected by the sudden closure of an Edinburgh nursery following a decision by the council to end cross-boundary funding for children to attend private nurseries outside their council area from August.
Claylands nursery announced on Friday that they would be closing with just five days notice, leaving parents little time to find alternative childcare.
