Pricey childcare coupled with high living costs are forcing parents to make tough decisions

Parents in Aberdeen say they’re are being forced to pay thousands of pounds extra in childcare as their young children fail to make the criteria for Government funding.

One parent told STV News, a ”postcode lottery” is costing her family 10 thousand pounds.

Sarah Todd’s three daughters were born just days after a cut-off as , but the City Council say they’re following Government guidance.
